Deployment

So yesterday I got probably the best news I've gotten in awhile. A couple of moths ago when Adam found out his duty station was Kentucky he also found out that the unit he was being placed into was deploying in May.I can't tell you how long I cried for, I know it is something that happens in the Military, and it is going to happen eventually but I wasn't expecting it to be so soon. I mean he has been away this past year, we just got married and we wont officially be living under the same roof till April when I finish school. That is one year and 7 months apart, I know i need to get used to it because in the event of a deployment we will be a part for at least 9 months and we wont have daily phone conversations and there wont be any good night texts, but I was hoping for time together before he left. Well back to the good news, Adam found out yesterday that the unit he was being placed into was FULL, so he is being put into a different unit which isn't deploying anytime soon. I couldn't be happier, that means we will actually get some time as husband and wife in our new home together before he leaves to do the job he absolutely loves, even though it means spending days and nights without him I am still proud of the man he is and the things he has chosen to do.
With that news I am now even more excited about moving to Kentucky, though I am not so excited about the packing. I started with the outside storage closet and kind of got side tracked and forgot to continue. Our house is a mess and I have more stuff then I thought I had. Though I guess if I start now I can have it done by the end of December. The Adventure is about to start and I love this life I was given and I'm glad I have been given the opportunity to share this life with Adam, he truly is my best friend and my better half!!

MRS MISCHEL

Well its official, I am now Alyson Mischel!! The wedding was amazing, this past year has been crazy and hectic but all the hard work paid off. Family from all over the country came, well mostly Georgia and California but its enough spread to be all over haha. anyways things turned out great, I got to get all dressed and walk down the aisle to the love of my life! The rest of forever has never looked better :)

The reception was also amazing, food was great and the Cake from Pary Flavors was phenominal. The dj Immanuel Smart did an amazing job and the Photographer, well she was absolutely amazing Ella Lu Photography is definately someone i would recommend. We dont have all of our picture back but with the few sneak peaks i am pretty excited for the rest!!

I also want to say that anyone who tells you, you cant have a beautiful wedding on a cheap budget apparently never tried. we didnt spend over 7 grand and still had everything we could have ever wanted. Everything however was DIY, we did everything ourself besides the cake and the photography. anyways i could go on and on about how great everything was but i will just let you see for yourself!!
